Born into a family where music flourished, Snehaja's artistic journey began at age five under the guidance of her father, the renowned Carnatic singer Sreedharan Mundangat. This early immersion in music at her father's esteemed institution 'Kala Sindhu' laid the foundation for her multifaceted career, encompassing not just vocal music but also a deep appreciation for Bharatanatyam.
Today, Snehaja stands as a prominent figure in the Indian music industry, with her versatility showcased through her mastery of multiple languages including Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi. Her voice has become a familiar presence across various platforms - from television serials and feature films to devotional albums and international stage performances.
As a member of “Antardhwani,” an Indian choir specializing in South Asian Contemporary and world music, she continues to push the boundaries of musical expression while staying true to her classical roots. Her recent contribution to the Karnataka Tableau at the 2023 National Republic Day Parade in New Delhi stands testament to her artistic excellence and versatility.
